Cellulase is a blend of selected enzymes to hydrolyze Cellulose and Hemicellulose components of pre-treated biomass. The optimal application and function of this Enzymes blend dramatically depend on the composition of the various fractions (Cellulose, Hemicellulose and Lignin) in the treated Biomass substrate. Experiments should be conducted to determine the dosage of cellulase and pretreatment method, which will work best on a specific feedstock.
cellulase for textile industries:
This product is a kind of acidic cellulase by fermentation of nonpathogenic microorganisms. It can be used for cellulose fabric’s bio-polishing in textile industries. Be applied to woven fabric, knitted fabric and can get a better effect on cotton fabric, cotton/polyester, flax, ramie. After the use of this acid cellulase enzyme, the fuzziness and the pilling is reduced, the feeling of the fabric is softer and smoother, and the colour is more lustrous. The dosage of this product is based on dilution, and the processing time is 35-90 minutes.
Cellulase for Paper industries:
Cellulose degrading enzymes are versatile and can be utilized effectively in paper and pulp industry to replace non-eco-friendly or biological conventional methods. Cellulases are used for a wide variety of uses, such as in biomechanical pulping, deinking, and drainage management, manufacturing biodegradable papers towels, sanitary papers. Cellulase mediated processes are more economical, energy-saving, cost-effective and low chlorine consuming. They are used as co-additive in pulp bleaching and for biomechanical pulping. A combination of cellulase and hemicellulase is used for deinking of waste papers to improve the quality and give better results of recycled papers. The enzymatic deinking leads to minimal or negligible use of alkali, enhanced brightness and strength properties. In this process used alkaline cellulase. The cellulase treatment is used to remove fibrils and colloidal substance to improve the drainage problems is paper mills; it is beneficial for paper mills.

A combination of cellulases, hemicellulases and pectinases, are added to improve process performance and yield to enhance cloud stability and texture and to reduce the viscosity of nectars and pure obtained from fruits such as apricot, peach, plum, papaya. The combination of these enzymes improved extraction, clarification, stabilization and yield of fruit and vegetable juices.
Cellulase for Conversion of lignocellulosic biomass into ethanol:
Conversion of lignocellulosic biomass into ethanol by using acid and alkaline cellulase Enzymes. Mediated processes are specific, low energy consuming and eco-friendly and hence, Cellulases mediated hydrolysis due to its enzymatic nature is preferred over acid/alkali methods. The conversion of biomass to fuel involves hydrolysis of constituents of raw material to fermentable sugars, followed by sugar fermentation to ethanol using appropriate microbes. The first step requires degradation of the lignocellulosic polymer, delignification to release cellulose and hemicellulose contains, followed by hydrolysis of carbohydrate polysaccharide to produce free sugars. According to an evaluation, there is about 39.9% cost reduction if cellulases are used for bioprocessing and pretreatment.
